Channel 4’s Fabulous Fashionista makes her
catwalk debut at 75 years old

After appearing in a recent Cutting Edge documentary showcasing super stylish and inspiring older woman, 75-year old Bridget Sojourner’s modelling career is just beginning. Bridget made her catwalk debut at a Mary’s Living & Giving fashion show in Richmond last night, having been previously turned down for modelling work for not being youthful enough.

Star of the show Bridget took to the runway alongside volunteers from the store, showcasing the hottest Autumn/Winter 2013 trends for men and women. Designer brands included Vivienne Westwood, Max Mara, Tom Ford, Diane van Furstenberg, Ralph Lauren and Alexander McQueen. All items were one-off pieces from the Mary’s Living & Giving shop, a vintage treasure trove on The Green that is laden with exclusive designer finds.

Fabulous Fashionista, Bridget Sojourner said: “It’s not about fashion, it’s about style and I know how to get myself a stylish bargain. Today, my outfit is all from Richmond’s Mary’s Living & Giving shop – which is full of fabulous finds. It’s fantastic because Mary’s Living & Giving have already done the hunting for you, putting all their best collections under one roof. This silver jacket by Et Vous in Paris is a steal at just £15. Better still, the more you buy, the more children that will be helped as every penny of profit goes to Save the Children who help to feed, clothe and educate children in the world’s poorest countries.”

Mary’s Living & Giving shops offer exclusive, designer items while raising money for Save the Children’s work in 120 countries. Perfect for fashionistas who want to maintain their originality, the shops offer top brands at amazing value. Every penny of profit goes to Save the Children who help to feed, clothe and educate children in the world’s poorest countries.
