LAGOS FASHION WEEK | And so, it begins !!!

All roads lead to Heineken Lagos Fashion and Design Week currently holding at Eko Atlantic.Fashionistas, designers, models, celebrities and influencers would be at one of Nigeria’s most anticipated event of the year. The shows kicked off with MORAFA – first time LFDW designer who came through STYLE HOUSE FILES, Fashion Focus incentive and ended with LFDW Alumni and a former winner of the « Young designer of the year award » Ejiro Amos Tafiri whose collections continue to grow in leaps and bounds.

The LFDW Production team continue to step up proceedings with back stage running as smoothly as possible with shows starting on time with full polished looks hitting the runway.

The makeup team, headed by the one and only Bimpe Onakoya, stuck to the dewy look that reigned supreme from the New York Fashion Week and down to Milan.

Models strutted the runway looking dewy, flushed and glossed with clean lines and skin. A little liner and bold lipped alternations to suit basic specifications of each designer and it was a wrap!

For hair, it was a simple affair of slinked down ponytails, with a few natural Afros that offered a much needed Afrocentric vibes!

Other highlights of the evening include the collections from  Style Temple, which inspired by fierce women. The pieces were strong yet feminine, two things that the Style Temple woman is. This collection featured power suits, floaty dresses with statement cut outs and mesh inserts.
